Teenage clothing sizes - UK stores?
I have a 10 year old son, but he's a tall lad and he's already into 12/13 sizes at Matalan. The problem is that they only go up to 12/13 and Asda no longer do teenagers clothing sizes. Marks and Spencers only do up to about 13 as well.
This might sound like a bit of a daft question, but where do you buy Clothes for young people? I can't afford designer gear, but don't want him to spend his time in joggers and tee shirts either - I'd just like some trousers/jeans and tops etc. When do teenagers go into small adult sizes?
Whenever I go into BHS they never have a good range - just the odd bit of clothing for older kids.
I'm completely stuck as to where to go.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
My mum has the same trouble with my younger brother. He's 13, quite tall but so skinny! She used to shop at Asda with him but he's grown out of the sizes there. We can't afford designer gear either, so they go to Topman where they do an extra small size and it's not too expensive, you can usually get '2 for £10' on the tops. My bro also likes H&M, apparently they go up to bigger kids' sizes like 14/15 and some of the trousers are measured in lengths rather than ages.
