Baby Gift Baskets - Tips To Create An Astounding One
Are you planning a baby shower for someone? Has a friend recently given birth to a healthy baby? How can you show her that you care about her and the baby? The best thing to do is give her a gift basket.
What is a baby gift basket? It is a themed gift baskets that have several items of value to the person who will receive it. These items will typically give both the parents and the new addition joy.
With the information provided below, you decide to make your own gift basket and buy one of the premade commercialized store bought ones.
One thing a family can never have enough of is things for the baby's nursery room. Some of things that can be packed in the basket is a colorful mobile that can keep the baby busy or entertained, lullaby music that will soothe the infant and nursery rhymes CDs.
Other bigger items include layettes, changing mats for their cribs and tables. Other baby furniture can be found in deluxe baskets.
Making the basket even more beneficial is placing educational toys in with the rest of the items. These toys can stimulate the child's mind mentally, aiding in his development.
Pacifiers, rattlers, feeding bottles, infant cups, bibs, spoons and teethers are useful things for both parents and baby. These item should be placed in the gift basket as they will come in handy and be most appreciated.
Several other baby items, parents will enjoy getting are bath products including shampoo, powder, towels, wipes, bubble bath, brush set and tub toys. The toys will be enjoyed as the child gets older.
Getting baby clothes in a gift basket is one gift that parents will never mind getting. Just be sure to know the sex of the child before getting color specific clothing.
Should you be giving a gift basket to a couple with another young kid besides the newborn, then toys can also be good for them. Add toys for this child's age so not to leave them out. Toys like board games or even board books will do. Putting toddler clothes in the basket could not hurt.
Should you be planning to give a gift at the baby shower, it is nice to find baby cookies, baby cakes, jelly beans and other baby foods there. Announcement cards can bring an added surprise to the mother-to-be. Small picture frames and albums add a little more delight to the basket. This little gesture on your part is a wonderful addition to the soon to be mother's picture collection.
For parents, adding gourmet wine and food can add to their celebration. Giving them a little something reminds them they do still have identities after all.
So how does one begin to create an original gift basket? Use bows and ruffles, of course. Or better yet, use a ring of baby pictures or baby items. Handmade crafts can be added with your personal touch. These can be in the forms of papier mache', origami, sculpture, small painting and woven or knitted items.
Should you plan on giving it during any other time like a christening celebration or baptism, then placing a small bible, silver cups or other symbolic item that represents the theme of the occassion.
Buying a gift basket... anyone can buy a gift basket commercially. But giving one that is well-thought out and thoughtfully done is sure to go a long way. When giving the person their gift, a smile is all you need to know it is a genuine "thank you."

Clothes that smell musty?
Does anyone know how to get that "wet towel" smell out of clothes?
My kids left some wet clothes in the laundry basket and now all the clothes smell musty! Any ideas on how to get that smell out?
Things You’ll Need:
1/4 cup of white vinegar
Step1.
If you left your clothes in overnight. Like a lot of us do. You do not have to re-wash. And, sometimes re-washing does not get that icky mildew smell out. The good news is that it's not too late for your clothes or your washing machine.
Step2
If you want to get the mildew smell out of your clothes. Re run your cycle and pour about 1/4 to 1/2 cup of white vinegar in the bleach section of your washing machine.
Step3
If you want the smell to leave your washing machine, run the washing cycle without the clothes and pout the vinegar into the bleach slot.
EASY!

Baking soda is also great to use instead of vinegar. Got a really funky smell...try both!
