Does the use or manufacture of meth produce a musty smell?
Two small children I know smell very musty sometimes, it is very strong ! It could be the Clothes are smelly from leaving in washer, or wet ,and left in basket or on basement floor. I thought I read that meth could have something to do with the smell,and the poor kids, especially the youngest have terrible coughs! If anyone knows about this smell, and its cause I would appreciate any info. they can give me! Thanks!
A musty smell is most likely mold or mildew. A meth lab will create chemical odors that are more like a solvent (ie lacquer thinner).
