Does hanging your clothes out on the line help the environment ?
I have hung my clothes out on the line since my welfare days when I could not afford to dry them at the laundry for $1 a load.
Its just become a habit. Its relaxing and I have dont it for over 20 yrs. Both kids are grown and now my daughter hangs her clothes out.
Of course I live rural and I always put them up in the morning and take them down at nite. Does this help the environment?
YES, you are doing a good thing. And it smells nice and fresh too.
Too bad our neighborhood does not allow us to hang stuff out. They claim it looks bad. So it is the dryer for me.
