Moms know more than anyone else?
Ok.I asked this question in the cleaning and laundry section but got no answers. I just want to know two things. How do you make your kids clean their rooms when they absolutely won't do it? And what is the best way to organize all my kids clothes? I have way too many and they are starting to pile up all over my house.I seriously need help...
What does YOUR room look like? If your room is a mess theirs will be too. They learn from the best. What kind of message does that send? If you tell them to clean their room just because you told them to makes you seem too controlling.
However...
I'd go through all of their clothes and start by separating the clothes they don't wear or have outgrown and recycle them at a Goodwill or some other place of clothing donation.
You can start by helping them organise their clothes and work out a system of rewards. Don't worry, they'll grown out of this reward habit once they get into their teens.
